The Casey Coon era as the Highland Softball coach at is underway, as they prepare for their first season under her. The former Freeport High School star and JUCO All-American at Black Hawk is excited. 
 
"We are lucky to have a strong group of student-athletes who work hard in the classroom, and on the field. I'm excited to see their growth in both as we continue into the season," said Casey Coon, Head Coach. 
 
The Cougars are looking to continue their success with the help of eight returning players, as well as the addition of 3 freshman and 2 transfer players.
