The Highland Softball program announces its spring schedule. It can be found at highlandcougars.com/sports/softball/schedule. The Cougars open the season on March 10, 2023 at the Midwest Bash in Evansville, IN. They are set to play some big competition, including Des Moines Area College who finished 5th at the National Tournament in 2022. The Cougars will then travel to Myrtle Beach, SC for spring break and compete in 8 games. Upon returning from this trip, Highland will start Region play on March 21, 2023 with a home doubleheader against Black Hawk College. The Cougars have 54 games scheduled for the spring and are looking to continue their success. "This fall it was great to see the camaraderie grow among these student-athletes. I am glad to have them back on campus and we have already started the semester strong," said Danielle Walker, Head Coach.
