Head Men's Basketball Coach Devin Kastrup has completed his coaching staff for the 2026-27 season, welcoming assistant men's basketball coaches Nate Duckworth and Dominique Wright

Duckworth, a Normal, Illinois native, comes to Highland after serving as an assistant coach at Roosevelt University last season. Duckworth played for coach Kastrup at both Southwestern Community College and Cloud County Community College before finishing his playing career at Nicholls College.

Wright joins the Cougars staff after spending last season at Peru State College as an assistant coach. Prior to Peru State, Wright spent three seasons as the lead assistant coach at Mt. Mercy University. Wright is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado and played with coach Kastrup at Western Colorado University and previously served as an assistant coach for coach Kastrup at Southwestern where he was also the resident hall coordinator.
