Coming off a successful 2022-2023 season, where the Highland Cougars Men's basketball team won 24 games, won the Region 4 Championship for the first time since 2020, and claimed the Arrowhead Conference Title, 4 members of the program earned postseason awards.

Ramean Hinton was named NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention, 1^st Team All Region 4, Region 4 Tournament MVP, and Arrowhead Conference MVP.

Demarius Splunge was named 1^st Team All Arrowhead Conference, and 2^nd Team All Region 4.

Johnny Melvin, who's buzzer beating shot to send the game to OT en route to beating Triton for the Region 4 Championship, was named to the Region 4 All-Tournament Team.

Head Coach Luke Norman was named Region 4 Coach of the Year, and Arrowhead Conference Coach of the Year.
