In a back and forth first half, Malcolm X took a 34-30 lead into halftime. Turnovers and 2
nd chance points plagued the Cougars most of the night, with Malcolm X getting up as much as 11 points, leading 59-48 with 10:00 minutes to go in the 2
nd half.
The Cougars found their stride late, as they outscored Malcolm X 35-13 in the final 10:00 minutes of the game to escape with an 83-72 win.
